Many things go into determining the price of downsizing a home or clearing an estate, the answer depends on the size of the home, the amount of items to be sorted, packed, donated, disposed of and cleaned. Every house is different; every client’s needs are different, therefore fees vary for every scenario.

After our initial meeting and inspection of the home, we base our quote on the services you require. We itemize each service to be provided along with the coordination of any extended services such as contractor/handymen, carpet cleaners, etc.

Once you review and sign the client service agreement, a deposit will be required before unFinished Details can begin the work. A mutual agreed start date will be determined at that time.

 Yes. All of the boxes, wrap, labels, and cleaning materials are included in our service. We also have hazmat gear if there is hazardous materials due to condition of the property.

Our client service agreement will outline the work to be completed. Each room’s contents will be placed into categories: keep, sell, donate, recycle or dispose.

Precious things such as letters and photographs can get hidden or lost through the years. We respectfully and carefully process everything and put any such items aside for the family's safekeeping.

No. Once you’ve identified items you wish to sell, we begin to photograph, catalog, and post for sale on-line. We will arrange curbside pickup, eliminating a parade of people from entering the home.  That said - we can do an estate sale if circumstances require it.

You can either come pick up your items or choose to have us donate them on your behalf. Once everything is sold, we send you the proceeds of the sales minus an admin/marketing fee as outlined in your client service agreement along with any charitable receipts.

No. We do not stage properties, however we can refer you to our preferred staging companies or your realtor can recommend a company. Our goal is to leave your home empty and sparkling clean; ready for market. 

A final clean includes vacuuming, mopping, and wiping all vertical and horizontal surfaces, including walls and inside cupboards and drawers. If you need window washing, carpet cleaning or any exterior cleaning we can recommend and schedule companies for you. All financial dealings will be between you and the third party.

No. We can recommend local contractors/handymen and schedule an appointment with you or meet with them on your behalf. All financial dealings will be between you and the third party. 

Absolutely! We have an extensive list of local charities that will accept donated items. Each charity has defined what they will and will not accept. 

Yes. We have a number of charities that would love to accept your donation. Note: You will receive a tax receipt for your generous donation from the organizations if your donation meets their minimum amount required.

Each downsizing or clearing project is different and the time required will be dependent on the square footage, the contents of the home, the level of clean, and the number of items needing to be packed (i.e. china, glassware, knickknacks, etc.). Our aim is to complete the work quickly and efficiently. Our quote will include a timeline and together we will determine the start date.
